WHAT IS THE JUNIOR PRAESIDIUM OF THE LEGION OF MARY?
It is the junior arm of the Legion of Mary for young people from under 18. The
purpose is to train and spiritualize young members under the age of 18, with a
focus on Mary as the Mediatrix of all graces.
WHAT CAN THE JUNIOR PRAESIDIUM MEMBERS DO?
Juniors may do one hour’s work per week from the following:
-encourage and bring an additional person to Mass every week
-bring a sibling or relative to Mass
-help younger students to know their catechism
-babysit at Mass
-make Mothers’ Day Cards and Holy cards
-help with the May processions and crowning
-serve as Altar Servers at Mass
-help to clean our church
-invite someone to become an active or an auxiliary members
-say special prayers with their own families
WHO CAN JOIN?
Any Catholic young person from aged 8 to 18.
WHEN DO WE MEET?
Every Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
