BLESSINGS TO FR. PATRICK
Fr. Patrick has had a whirlwind ‘tour of duty’ here at St. Benedict’s parish. In ten short months, he has risen, with profound response-ability, to the many demands of shepherding this very large parish, with care, love, dedication and wisdom! I personally can’t thank him enough for all his hard work and for welcoming me into the fold!
His experience has galvanized him to move (and at times push) forward and become, as a young priest, an able-bodied pastor! Sacred Heart parish in Rockwood, and the Newman Centre at the University of Guelph, are receiving a dedicated, well-organized pastor. We pray for you, Fr. Patrick, and thank God for you and your gift of Christ’s priesthood that you have shared with us.
“Father in Heaven, you have looked after St. Benedict parish with your son Fr. Patrick. He has witnessed your Fatherhood and the Shepherding of your Son, Jesus. We dedicate him now, to carry forth your care to the faithful people of Rockwood and the University of Guelph. Bless him with all he needs and hopes for!” Amen.
