In celebration of the Diocesan Feast of Christ the King, the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King will host a special screening of the documentary Carlo Acutis: Roadmap to Reality. This inspiring film shares the story of St. Carlo Acutis, the young “millennial saint” whose love for the Eucharist continues to draw people closer to Christ.
WALK WITH JESUS: Retreat Day for Grieving Parents

The loss of a child is a most challenging event in the life of any parent. This grief is acute and challenging and never truly leaves us. The Diocese of Hamilton invites you to join us as we welcome Deacon Henry DeMena from North Carolina to join us in facilitating a retreat day for parents who have lost a child through death. Whether the loss is recent or some time ago, we invite you to join us for this day of healing and support. The retreat will be offered at the Church of Our Lady Basilica in Guelph from 9 am to 4 pm on November 22nd (lunch is included). Registration is required so we know how many to set up for and how much lunch to order. Vocations Dance
November 7th, 2025 – Mount Mary Ancaster
Father Mark Morley invites the young adults (ages 20s and 30s) of our diocese to attend a Regency period dance for dating couples and singles who are discerning the vocation of sacramental marriage on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at Mount Mary Retreat Centre (437 Wilson Street East, Ancaster) starting at 7:00pm. The evening includes a talk, dance instruction, and hors d’oeuvres. Cost: $20 per person. Online registration required by Monday, November 3rd. Space is limited. No tickets at the door. YOUNG ADULTS NIGHT
Fr. Mark Morley invites all young adults (ages 20s and 30s) of our diocese to attend an evening of prayer, fellowship and praise music in support of your vocations.
