Dear parishioners and friends of Saint Benedict Parish:
In September I had the honour of returning to Saint Benedict Parish and seeing many of you for the first time since January 2022. While it was a sad occasion for me to say goodbye to you and the parish, it also brought me great joy to see so many of you!
I am thankful for your presence that afternoon and for your kind best wishes, cards and gifts. I am deeply grateful for your kindness to me! I would like to thank all those who organized that event and worked hard to keep the reception line moving. I am also deeply grateful to the people I had the privilege of working with over the nine years that I was pastor of Saint Benedict Parish: the priests, deacons, staff, the parish building committee, the parish finance committee, the different ministries, service organizations and the administration and staff at our parish schools. I also thank you for your support of the parish and myself—Saint Benedict Parish will always have a special place in my heart!
