MEN’S MINISTRY OUTREACH
Men’s Clothing for Inmates discharged from Maplehurst Prison
Our newly founded men’s group at St. Benedict, has graciously accepted the responsibility of collecting used men’s clothing to help inmates at Maplehurst Correctional Complex, who are discharged from the prison. Sometimes, these men enter the prison with little or nothing and often don’t have much upon leaving the complex. Items should be wearable i.e. washed, with no rips or holes. Categories include: Pants; Coats; Socks; Underwear; Shirts. PLEASE, IT IS NOT A DROP OFF FOR ANYTHING ELSE – NO CHILDREN’S OR WOMEN’S CLOTHING. Our men’s group is building a drop off bin that will be accessible inside the church for you to put appropriate men’s clothing items into.
Thank you to our men’s group and thank you for your kindness and God bless the people of Maplehurst Correctional Complex!
Fr. Larry
